Orchestra participation requires an audition consisting of two pieces of your choice, ideally representing different styles and time periods. Admission will depend on the outcome of the audition and available space in the relevant section.
To set an audition please make an appointment by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org and specifying your name, instrument, and a phone number where you can be reached. We are still looking for first violins, double basses, horns.
Orchestra rehearsals are Monday night from 8.15 to 10.45 pm. You may consult the full calendar here.
Students of the University of Bologna and Italian conservatories who play with the orchestra are eligible for attendance awards that are handed out at the end of each academic year. You can find information about scholarship in the Rules and Regulation.
Section leaders are chosen through a competitive selection and receive a stipend for their participation in the orchestra. Section leader positions are available for principal second violin, viola, cello and bass, and for first flute, oboe, clarinet, bassoon and horn.

To participate in the Collegium Musicum you must become an Association member. The annual membership dues are 20 Euros pfor University of Bologna and Conservatory students and 40 Euros for non-students.
